1. General
1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all learners enrolling in the Level 3 Diploma in Aviation Operations("Course") offered by Crosby Aviation Training (“Course Provider”, “we”, “us”).
1.2. By enrolling and paying for the Course, you (“Learner”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Definitions
2.1. Course Materials: All materials, content, or resources provided during the Course.
2.2. Course Fee: Total fee of £750 plus VAT, payable in full upfront.
2.3. Licence: A limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use Course Materials solely for your personal study, ending upon completion or termination.
3. Learner Information & Registration
3.1. You must provide accurate personal and contact information at enrolment and promptly notify us of any changes.
3.2. You will receive login credentials and course access only after full payment and completion of any required registration forms.
3.3. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and must not share them. Unauthorized access may result in termination.
4. Course Duration & Access
4.1. The Course runs for 12 months from enrolment.
4.2. Extensions beyond 12 months can be granted at £95 plus VAT per additional month.
4.3. We may update Course Materials or structure; such changes take effect once communicated.
5. Fees, Payment & Refunds
5.1. The Course Fee of £750 plus VAT is due upfront to gain access to the learning materials.
5.2. In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, cancellation is allowed within a 14-day period from the purchase contract conclusion.
5.3. Refunds are only eligible within 14 days from the purchase contract conclusion if the course materials have not been accessed.
5.4 Accessing or using the online content disqualifies candidates from claiming a refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
5.5 Special considerations may be applied on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
5.6 If a cancellation occurs within the 14 day period, a 20% administration and registration fee applies, with the remaining amount refunded within 30 days, if eligible.
5.7 Once the course materials are accessed, no refund can be granted.
5.8 All refund requests must be made in writing to aviation@crosbyaviation.co.uk
6. Assignments & Feedback
6.1. Assignments must be your original work; any use of external sources must be properly referenced.
6.2. Feedback will be provided within two weeks of submission.
6.3. Learners may submit assignments multiple times within the enrolment period.
7. Certification
7.1. A formal certificate is issued upon successful completion of all Course requirements during the enrolment or extension period.
7.2. Certificates are only processed after all dues (including extension fees) are cleared.
8. Behaviour & Academic Integrity
8.1. Unacceptable behaviour or breach (e.g., plagiarism, credential sharing) may lead to removal from the Course with no refund.
8.2. You must comply with these Terms and support the integrity of the learning process.
9. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
9.1. Limited use of AI tools for tasks such as idea generation and planning may be deemed appropriate in certain contexts. An excessive reliance on AI tools, particularly for composing entire assessments or substantial portions, is strictly prohibited and is regarded as a form of plagiarism.
9.2. Learners are strongly advised against relying on AI tools and should ensure that any use of AI is properly referenced and acknowledged.
10. Data Protection – General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR)
10.1. The security of your information is of the utmost importance to CAT. Our Privacy Policy describes the measures we take to safeguard your data.
11. Intellectual Property (IP)
11.1. By engaging in any services provided by the Course Provider, you acknowledge and agree that these are all the exclusive property of the Course Provider. You expressly recognise the Course Provider’s ownership of all rights, title and interest in the IP and commit not to utilise it for any illegal or infringing purposes. Any reproduction of the IP, whether electronically or through the registration of new trademarks, trade names or Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), is strictly prohibited without the Course Provider’s express written permission.
12. Service interruptions
12.1. There may be instances where we need to temporarily interrupt your access to the course for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. You acknowledge and agree that your access to the course could be impacted by downtime for any reason. However, we hold no liability for any damage or loss resulting from such downtime.
12.1. The Course Provider will make all reasonable efforts to minimise downtime.
13. Liability & Disclaimers
13.1. The Course is educational in nature. We do not guarantee any professional or personal outcome.
13.2. We are not liable for any decisions or issues arising from your engagement with the Course.
14. Changes to Terms
14.1. These Terms may be updated; the latest version applies upon posting. It is your responsibility to review them.
15. Complaints and Appeals
15.1. Complaints or appeals regarding the Course or feedback must follow our Complaints Procedure, available on our website.
16. Termination
16.1. We reserve the right to terminate this agreement at our discretion and for any reason, with or without cause. This includes termination if you breach any terms outlined herein, such as violating IP. You too, have the right to terminate this agreement at any point by notifying us in writing.
16.2. Upon termination, provisions inherently expected to survive termination by their nature will continue in full force. It is important to note that terminating this agreement does not entitle you to a refund for any expenditures made with us.
17. Governing Law
17.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
17.2. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales
