The Rules

Format

This will be a group stage tournament with qualifying teams progressing to the knockout stages before quarter finals, semi finals and the winner being decided in the final. Further details of qualification criteria and group draw will be released nearer to the event.

The Teams

The on the pitch playing team will consist of 1 goalkeeper and 4 outfield players.


Squads can consist of a maximum of 8 players.


Rolling substitutions are allowed throughout each game.


Squads can consist of players from any gender.


Team entry invoice must be paid prior to the competition.


Organisations are permitted to enter more than 1 team.

Timings (approximate)

0930-1000  Arrival, registration and Captains' brief.

1000-1700 Tournament

Privacy

There will be photography/videography throughout the day. This material may be used for social media promotion and on our website. Any players not wishing to be photographed or recorded should inform us before arrival.

Rules of Play

Matches are played on an artificial surface.  AstroTurf boots and moulded studs may be worn. Metal studs are not permitted.


All players are advised to wear shinpads in the interest of health and safety. The onus is on the players to mitigate any potential risks involved in playing football and the organiser accepts no liability for any injuries that may occur on the field of play.


Swearing at the referee is an automatic sending off offence.


The referee’s decision is final. The referee may send off any player for verbal abuse.


Details of specific in play rules will be confirmed nearer to the event.


The organiser reserves the right to remove any team from the tournament at any time for not adhering to the rules.
